Engine Parts Group to Support
New Engine Rebuilders Council Membership Drive
BETHESDA, MD – July 20, 2011 – The Engine Rebuilders Council (ERC) has kicked off a membership drive through the support of Engine Parts Group, according to Ken Carter, chairman of ERC.
Engine Parts Group has mobilized its sales force to take the message right to shop owners about the importance of supporting ERC’s mission of consumer education about the benefits of rebuilding their vehicles with a remanufactured - rebuilt engine. In addition, ERC has developed an informative website (www.enginerebuilder.org) geared toward educating vehicle owners about engine replacement options. Engine builders have the opportunity to be listed on the Find-A-Shop search engine by joining the Engine Repower Council.
“ERC is very excited about the opportunity to work with the Engine Parts Group to bring great value to engine builders, including an online resume on our Find-A-Shop program that will help drive consumers to ERC member shops,” said Carter. “The newly reduced membership fee will hopefully entice smaller engine builders to join ERC and take advantage of our consumer awareness campaign, marketing, research and industry support.”
